The Crown is Toyota's oldest nameplate and its most interesting sedan — taller than a Camry, plusher than anything else in the showroom, with standard AWD and a hybrid heart. It's for the buyer who's earned something special but still wants Toyota math on ownership costs.
The available Hybrid MAX powertrain turns it into a genuine sleeper — quick in a way that surprises people. Come drive one; it sells itself in about four blocks.
